It could just be a blocked duct. Post on the other breast cancer forum above and ask the doctor. There are two breast forums here. The one on top the doctor will answer but it will be a generic answer most likely. Go to breastcancer.org also and join the discussion boards there for lots of info. A wonderful site. Please see a breast specialists.
You mentioned that your Aunt died of cancer but didn't say if you were ever tested. Did you have a mammogram, ultrasound and/or biopsy? This sounds more serious than any antibotic (antibiotic) can cure. Please please insist that your doctors give you test on top of test. I am a breast cancer survivor and I wish you the best.
From the long history that you describe and the positive family history it would be best to see a breast specialist.
A mammogram, ultrasound and maybe a MRI would be advisable. A ductogram would also help in finding the cause of the nipple discharge.
Has the nipple discharge been sent to the lab for examination. If yes, what do the reports say and if not, ask your doctor about it.
What is your age?
Well, it was not a very good idea to pick or pop the lesion and that could have caused a non resolving infection which is not responding to the antibiotics.
You need to consult a breast specialist at the earliest and see what he has to say.
Do let us know about your progress and what has your doctor advised.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
