I'm neither of the women who answered your previous posts but I'm going to try to lump them all in one .....First the breast pump idea in my opinion isn't the best. The discharge I'm quite sure was due to your breast pump experiment. Breast discharge will often occur when there is any type of stimulation. This sends a signal to the brain to produce something ... the original idea of course is milk. Now on to the "thread" issue. If you add any additional comments or another question it's best if you find your original post and add it as a "comment" like I am doing in answer to you. This puts everything in the same place so we can go back and read from the beginning to get a better picture of your concerns. You have nothing to be sorry for .... it's a natural mistake if you aren't familiar with the Forum. If I left out anything either post it as a comment here or contact me by note or private message.   Regards ....

Thank you for your response.  However, the discharge wasn't from the breast pump experiment, because I haven't tried it yet and probably won't.  I remember when my daughter would use it, it seemed pretty aggressive.  I went back to the doctor today and he said since I had a lot of fluid build-up, that it was just trying to make its way out and everything looked.

In a way I find that an odd explanation .... it sounds to me that the milk ducts have been blocked for some reason. Sorry, but I thought you had tried that breast pump experiment; I'm glad you have decided against it :). If as I said the milk ducts were clogged then this might be a problem and may need some attention in the future. I would suggest that you consider a visit to a Breast Specialist if this continues as although it's not necessarily of great concern it isn't what one would call "normal". There a a few issues with the milk ducts that can cause problems and all deserve investigation and treatment.   Regards .....
