nipple discharge

I read on of your answers about nipple discharge where you said it it only significant if it is spontaneous, comes from one nipple, keeps on happening, etc. My question is when you said keep on happening. Does that mean keeps on happening spontaneously or keeps on happening when you squeeze your nipples/ I get discharge everytime I squeeze but it never comes out on its own. I also have a lump.

Dear Niki, In regard to nipple discharge the concern is when it happens spontaneously – without squeezing.  My question to you is have you had this lump checked out by a health care professional? If not you may want to have it evaluated.
