nipple pain

by cc001, Mar 29, 2009 09:20PM
Hi, I have stopped breastfeeding for the past two years but still I get white discharge on my nipple when i squeeze it.
For the past two-three days, my left nipple feel kind of engorged feeling.(a feeling of like when i was breastfeeding) and when i squeeze my nipple, and let out some discharge, i was ok.
yesterday, my nipple is kind of tender, and red(like infected) and itchy feeling. the itch is almost like pain. everything else seems ok. is it normal?
also, this morning, i feel little pain under my left arm like muscle pulled. ( i do get this once a while) but now it seem everything comes all at once. I put some ointment on my nipple last night and today it hurts only when i touch it and the itch is gone.
please help i am just worried and want to know if all is ok. thanks.
