nipple wrinkling and pain

I'm 20 years old and about 3 months again, I had left breast pain a few days before and leading all the way through my period. That happened again this month. I also noticed that when I raise my arm, my areolas get wrinkled (even during a breast exam) and perhaps even when its not cold. I'm really worried. Should I go get a mammogram?

It is quite common to have breast tenderness at the time of your period; this is due to the hormonal changes at this time. The Areola is usually a bit wrinkled ..... this has nothing to do with breast cancer when dimpled skin is a factor to investigate. NO ... I see no reason for you to get a Mammogram ... especially at your age as the film would be nearly useless due to the density of the breast tissue. The issues you mention are normal occurances.    Regards ....
