I had breast reduction one month ago and today I felt a nodule above my left breast at about 2oclock.. it's an obvious nodule, and I don't have one on the left side...is this a side effect from the surgery? Has anyone had this problem? It doesn't hurt...should I go to the md?
This could be scar tissue, fat necrosis,etc. Have you followed up with your surgeon after the surgery?

These are managed with regularRegular insulin breast self examinations and periodic clinical breast examinations by your physician and 6 monthly or yearly mammograms and ultrasound.

A breast nodule would mean non-uniformly dense breast tissue or a lump like lesion.
Have you noticed any abnormal features on breast self examination like a breast lump, nipple discharge or skin changes?
