Dear cana:  A papilloma is a wart-like growth.  It is benign.  The difficulty is that bloody discharge can be a papilloma or it can represent something more serious.  You have done the correct thing by having it examined each time.  Hopefully, you will not have multiple occurences.  I cannot find any information suggesting that papillomas ever progress to cancer.
