open sore on each breast

I've had these sores on my breasts for about a year now, with no end in sight.  They've made me very self aware when it comes to intimacy and frightened for my health. No, I've not seen a doctor about this as I'm almost too scared what he/she will tell me.  Does this sound like it would warrant a biopsy??  I appreciate any feedback.....

Hi there.

I suggest you have this checked by your doctor so that this can be evaluated fully.  Sores are not tantamount to cancer and for all you know these can be benign in nature.  However, it is strongly recommended that you have these evaluated.  Your doctor can request imaging studies like mammogram, ultrasound or MRI.  A biopsy procedure may also be needed to be sure about the nature of those sores.  Don't be afraid of what the doctors will find out for all of the findings will be for your own good.  I hope you find the time and courage to do this, as soon as possible.

Regards and God bless...
