open wound

Whom it may concern,

I have a wound behind my leg that is about the size of the tip lead of a pencil and as deep as about the the same, ive had it for 11 days now and it didnt seem to heal, but it also diddnt seem to be getting worse either i.e. extreme redness, or pus or anything coming out of it, it formed a scab and was only red around it but not spreading which recentlycame off about two days ago on accident, if i had a choice i would have left it on (the scab) thinking it would heal better, since it came off there was a hole as ive said but redness got lighter and it looks healthier as opposed to having the scab on, i cleaned it, theres is no pain, and no irritation beside itchy, ive put some cream on and keep it covered with band aid now, and looks like a healthy healing woun, it dont look so deep anymore and has gotten skinnier, but there is a.... i wanna say light yellow something on top, the wound still is not showing any signs of infection as ive read up on what to look for since i got it, Nd there is still no pain i am just wondering is that normal also is moist but not white like after taking a shower around it, as a matter of fact it dont get white after showering, please put my mind at ease as i am a huge worrier, thanks, any advise will be helpful.

I couldn't find one either .... we deal only with Breast Cancer issues here but you might try the General Health Community. I would first advise you to see your Primary Care Physician NOW as I doubt this problem is going to go away on it's own. I'm sure some type of treatment needs to be started ASAP so please see a Dr. or go to an Urgent Care Facility if you don't have a Physician.  Thanks and good luck.
