pain around left breast and side

I have had an ache on the left side and the bottom of my breast for a few days. It does not seem aggravated by movement. Any ideas?

There are many things that could be causing breast pain.One of the most common is usually related to hormonal fluctuation.The pain could also be related to other conditions,like Ulcer,Flatulence,Muscle spasm,Angina,Costochondritis etc...
You should report any persistent breast pain to your physician who will evaluate the pain, taking into account your personal history, family history, the area of pain, the intensity and duration of the pain.Also your doctor will perform a clinical breast examination and if necessary,order additional breast imaging exams (such as mammography or ultrasound) to help determine whether the pain is related or not to breast condition.
If no breast abnormality is found,you and your physician should decide together whether drug treatment is necessary for any other condition that is causing your pain.
