pain under armpit

I am 38 years old with a reoccuring problem.  I have a lump in my armpit that is painful.  I first felt this lump 2 years ago.  It is oval, fixed and rubbery.  It is painful on and off.  There is something similar under the other armpit, but it is not enlarged and not painful.  Two years ago I had it checked by my primary and a breast specialist and they saw nothing that concerned them.  They said it may be a ridge of breast tissue.  To me it feels more like what a swollen lymph node would fell like.  The lump has not gone away, but has not gotten bigger.

This time I am having other symptoms that are bothering me.  I feel light headed and I have a hard time concentrating.  There is a pain under the shoulder blade on the same side.  I have been having hot flashes and heart palpitations as well as blurry vision.

some of these things may be unrelated, but it would be great to have a direction to point in.  Could all of this point to breast cancer or lymphoma?  Could it be perimenipause?

Dear ssbtx, Over the internet without benefit of examination including questioning and physical examination it is impossible to say what is causing your symptoms.  You should bring this to the attention of your doctor who can assess and make recommendations for further evaluation if needed.
