As a rule the joint pain lasts about 5 days after treatment. You don't state how long you've been off the Taxol treatments; or if you have finished. If your pain is truly "long term" you might want to consult a pain management specialist. If you are on some other medication some of the pain could be coming from that also. You might ck. with your Oncologist as he/she knows how long you've been on / or off taxol, how long the pain has persisted and what other med.s you might be on that could cause some of the pain.
