Any time Hyperplasia with Atypia is found the usual method of treatment is to remove the suspicious area surgically. This area of atypical cells is something that increases one's risk of developing Breast Cancer in the future, hence the removal. Please make a list of any and all questions or concerns you may have and take it with you when you see the Surgeon. He/She will give you a complete explanation after reviewing your records.   Regards ....
