My recent pet scan showed a suv value of 3.9.
this pet scan was done after two surgeries 12-12-06 and 12-29-06.
First surgery showed reoccurance of cancer and didn't have clean margins went back in for surgery no cancer. I developed celluitis and it stopped leaking on 2-10-07. I was on oral antibiotics for 20 days. I still had an area that still peeled which has since stopped peeling. I still can't sleep on that side it causes pain . Thisarea of my chestis really hard. Could this celliutis that I had cause a SUV value of 3.9. My pet scan was done on April 13, 2007. My surgery went all the way down to my pectoral muscle and a piece of that was also removed.
