pimple on nipple
My 5 year-old daughter has a pimple on her nipple and I am concerned since I saw something about that and it being a very serious type of breast cancer.  Her other nipple gets erect when I touch it, but that one does not and looks as though there is a slit for a nipple.  Is it something that should be looked at?  Is she too young to have anything like breast cancer?

Hi,

See that she should not pick at the lesion as this might cause infection.

You should keep the area clean, make her wear lose clothes and see if the pimple goes away in a few days.

Pimples on the breast can occur, just like on skin anywhere else.

If the pimple does not resolve in a few days consult your physician/ pediatrician for a clinical evaluation.

Let us know if you have any other doubts and keep us posted on how your daughter are doing and what does your physician advise.

Good luck.
