please answer

I have been diagnosed to have fibroadenoma in both breast.
Do I need to have a surgery immediately?
My surgeon told me to decide if I want to have them removed at the same time.
It's already 3cm.

Fibroadenomas are benign breast tumors and can be removed if they are particularly troublesome. They can also be left alone if they are causing you no problems.
