pregnancy after ADH diagnosis

I was diagnosed with ADH February of 2003.  Shortly after I found out I was pregnant with our 6th baby. I had the baby in Nov 2003 and am slowly weening the baby.  I am 39 and do not have any history of breast cancer in my family.  I had my first child at 25 but other than that I don't believe I have any other risk factors.  I am wondering if Tamoxifen would be the best choice for me.  I did see an oncologist throughout my pregnancy for breast exams.  She wanted to see me back after I was finished breastfeeding to talk about my options.  I want to get as many opinions as I can.  Thanks, suzy2020   PS there will not be anymore surprise pregnancies!

Dear suzy2020:  ADH is considered a risk factor for breast cancer.  It is not a pre cancer.  There was a trial that indicated that tamoxifen reduced the risk of developing cancer in women with high risk.  The ADH may put you in that category.  Once you have weened your baby, it is appropriate to meet with the oncologist to discuss risks and benefits of this approach.
