pregnant w/ extreme tenderness in one breast and swollen gland

I wrote last month about the enlarged lymph node in my armpit that no one is worried about..I have seen a general surgeon and my family doctor and my ob/gyn..all say it is just reactive..since I have been pregnant I have had the normal breast tenderness but it has subsided in one breast but the one w/ the enlarged gland the whole side of my breast is extremely tender and has been since pregnant..it hurts so bad when I wake up at night..well, I took it upon myself to see a breast disease specialist hoping that maybe she would send me for an ultrasound but she gave me a very quick exam , told me I didn't have "breast cancer" and gave me a prescription for tylenol #3..I feel like giving up..what should I do now? I feel like my whole pregnancy has been spent worrying so far..I feel helpless

Dear renie:  As you have been evaluated by multiple professionals who all agree that this is not a cancer possibility, I think you need to assume that this is correct.  Obviously if this gets larger, you can get re-evaluated.  Pregnancy can cause a lot of changes. This may be the entire explanation.
