radiation and large breasts

what about large breasts and radiation ......blisters etc

Dear donnahannaway:  Large breasts would be affected by radiation therapy the same way that smaller breasts would.  If the skin should become irritated, and the breast tissue folds over so that moisture collects the irritation could become worse in that setting.  The radiation oncology staff should be able to make recommendations regarding good hygiene to minimize extra irritation.
