recovery

i was just wondering if anyone had any idea how long it is before you feel back to normal im on my second week of recovery i had surgery last mon 11th and i feel really rubbish this week . my sick note runs out on mon and i dont really feel ready to go back to work i dont want to go back too soon i was wondering if i should  stay off another week just to rest, because my work are funny bout you taking separate periods of absence so if i went back and was bad they wouldnt like it if i had to go on sick again.i am a cashier so always moving my arms constantly on till and do have to lift some heavy items,i also have not had a follow up oppointment yet to check my stiches and the wound. i do still get pain and like tingling feeling and its awkward to do stuff with my arm carnt sleep on it .thanks for any advice you can give me x

I hope you are starting to feel better by now.  If not, since it will be two weeks tomorrow since your surgery, you should defintely contact your surgeon's office to report any symptoms you are still having, and if necessary, be seen again before returning to work.

I also hope your results are benign!

Best wishes,
bb

No problem!  This happens a lot.

We just put that comment there so answerers can keep all their responses on one of your threads, rather than dupicate our efforts by dividing answers between  two threads.
