red small knot

hello ! I am worried ........last night i happened to notice a sore spot on my left breast (on inside) so of course I looked at the area and it was red and there is a small hard knot the size of a pea ......the red area is approx the size of a quarter around the knot and its warm to the touch. Iam almost 100% positive the knot or reddness was not there on monday night when i took my bath. i have no history of breast cancer or problems associated. I have a baseline mammy last december and went back for a retest in june because of assymetric breast tissue .......but was told there was no signs of cancer. iam worried can someone help?
