redness on side

I had surgery for right breascancer (DCIS) followed by radiation and am now taking Tamoxifen. I finished radiation over a year ago. I did get redness that "tanned" out and now is gone. BUT... Now I have slight redness/pinkish on my right side along my ribs. going down to my waist.  No one seems to know what it is.  It is not a rash and I have not changed anything since finishing radiation.  I was wondering if anyone knows what this could be or if this is a later side effect of radiation.  When I use a steroid cream on it it lightened a little, but is still there on a bit lighter in color.  There is no pain or itching.  Just discolored, some days darker some lighter.

I can't think of anything it might be .... I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a late side effect from the Radiation if the area has remained clear in the previous months. I suggest that you see a Dermatologist regarding this. We have 2 Dermatology Forums; one a Community similar to this group and one where Cleveland Clinic Physicians answer questions. You might also try to post there and see if someone can shed some light on the problem. Regards ....
