right aillary tail

i have a lump on the right axillary tail. i went for an  FNA and the results read: features of a reactive intra-mammary lymphnode, what does that mean?

It means that there is a lymph node present in the breast tissue and this is NOT abnormal. Mammary lymph nodes are fairly common ... the fact that it is "reactive" means that it is reacting to some issue which may be an infection somewhere in the body. I suppose you could have the node removed and tested by the Pathology Lab for a more detailed answer. You could see a Surgeon and get an opinion there if you or your Dr. thinks this needs further investigation.   Regards ....
