second opinions or third?

In March I had a left breast biopsy.  A local patholist reported that the nodule was an adenoma but the tissue surrounding showed intraductal hyperplasia.  My surgeon sent the slides to the Mayo clinic for review and they reported  no hyperplasia who do you believe?  I am 34 years old, an adoptee with no family medical history or information.

Dear kar:  In general I would belive the larger, more experienced pathologist.  However, since there is disagreement, you could consider a third opinion.  The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology is considered a very good place to have pathology reviewed.  You could ask to have your slides forwarded to them.
