shape of lump

I have an unusuall shaped lump at the top half of my left breast and goes down to the right side of the breast. I am waiting on a hospital appointment but its 3 weeks away. My mum has had 2 breasts removed 5 years apart..im 40 years old and would like 2 know how long appointments normally take and could cysts b off that size. I also have an eating disorder and don't want that 2 get any worse because of the waiting.

Dear indie764, Over the internet it is impossible to evaluate this lump.  Our advise is that this should be evaluated.  For your peace of mind getting this checked sooner rather than later would be helpful - you may want to check in with the facility if they have any cancellations that you could fill in.
