side effects of chemo?

by daisbell, Nov 07, 2009 04:33AM
I just finished by 3rd chemo treatment for breast cancer.  Exactly one week after chemo I start with this diaherra.  I break out in a rash.  The DRs thought it was the neulasta.  They lowered the dose.  Still happened.  Now I have been switched to neuphagen.  Same thing has happened.  I don't even know how to describe it.  It is very painful.  I feel like I am pushing 50 lbs out of me.  The oncologist just keeps saying "Oh this is unusual".  I have 3 more treatments to go.  Do I just have to live with this?  I have every sort of med that they can give you for diaherra.  Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.  During all of this I ususally have a pain under my left rib cage.

I would suggest you try posting this in the Chemotherapy Expert Forum.

Best wishes...
