skin & nipple saving surgery

Has anyone out there had skin & nipple saving mastectomy?  Did you have a lumpectomy before?  Were you satisfied with the results?

First I had a lumpectomy, but they couldn't get it all, so I then had the skin sparing masectomy with immediate TRAM flap reconstruction. Due to the location of the cancer they could not save the nipple.
I tend to describe it to people as they "restuffed" me with a tummy tuck. I just have one horizontal scar across center of breast. I am disappointed that I don't have the peak of my breast anymore.  The base diameter is fine, but if you viewed if from the side or top it is sort of like a mountain with the peak sheered off.  Surgeon said they were unable to save any of the nipple, areola and nearby skin due to location of tumor. So I found a small "falsie" that I now stuff in the front of my regular bras.
But all is not bad, I am grateful to have a very normal looking cleavage. I am large breasted and friends can't believe I had a masectomy when I wear something with cleavage.
