small blue lump

small blue lump

Hi, ok i'm 19 years old,and when my breasts first really started developing around maybe 14 or 15 years old i noticed this small blue lump near my nipple on my left breast. I thought nothing of it since i was so young and it hasnt changed in size or shape or texture and causes zero pain. Its also mobile and smooth, the only bother it causes is my worries. Someone commented on hear with literally the same exact thing as me and for her it turned out to be just a lesion of dense tissue, completely harmless so that gave me some relief even tho i know i should get it checked out. I'll get the courage evntually! Just wanted some feedback, thank you!

I also wanted to add in, my mother has lumpy breasts and has had small masses of dense tissue removed before, so she said that i could have just inherited the fibrocystic? Breasts she has, i think thats the term she used

Hi,
This could very well be a cyst.
The chances that this is cancer are very doubtful especially at your young age and also because you have had it for so long and no change has occurred.
Obviously this small lump is worrying you and you should be seeing your physician for evaluation. You really don't need to worry and wonder about this lump at your young age...
Take care...
