small lump under right nipple (16 yr male)

i am 16 and i have a small pea sized lump under my right nipple and it isnt sore really at all just a little. my left breast mainly around the nipple is slightly sore to touch and may be forming a small lump. at the moment im not too concerned. should i be concerned? i asked some people at school and one said they have had them and they go away in a few months and its nothing to worry about. however my teacher said i need to have it checked. but i dont know if i should.

Lumps in the male breast need not make worry.Breast cancer in the male breast,particularly at your young age, is very rare and even rarer when you have these lumps in both your breasts.
The kind of lump that you describe sounds to me as if it is the result of a condition called Gynecomastia.That's actually a common complaint associated with male puberty.
Gynecomastia is the swelling of the male breast. This can occur as a swelling of the entire breast or, just like the symptoms you describe, simply as a swelling that is restricted to the nipples. The reason for this is due to the hormonal changes that are occurring within in your body due to puberty.
It is more than likely that your nipples will return to normal on their own without treatment. If you are worried and would like to be reassured, or feel that the lumps have been with you for longer than you expect, then you should see your health care provider.
