Hi,
I am glad to know that you don't have breast cancer and thanks for sharing the good news ! :)
Now,regarding your question, there is no sure way to prevent breast cancer, but there are things that you can do to lower the risk.If you follow a healthy lifestyle, which includes exercising regularly, proper diet, avoiding junk food and other unhealthy vices,it is already a very good start.
Other than lifestyle changes, the most important thing is to be aware of any changes that you may notice in your breasts,by performing "Breast Self Exams" monthly, after your menstruation is over, and maintain regular clinical examinations, including Mammograms or Ultrasound as recommended by your doctor, especially since you have a family history of BC.
With regular screening, breast cancer is more likely to be detected at a very early stage when it is highly curable.Early detection is "KEY" to winning breast cancer battle.
Best wishes...
Thank you for replying. I've got check on oncology hospital on Tuesday. And the result is nothing to worry. Maybe it relate with my cervical bone problem n my nerve pinch problem.
And the most important thing, all my problem started from my stress.
Cause I have 2 close family member with BC history. I wanna know how to avoid BC??
I'm 33 y, have 1 son (6 years), breastfeed my baby until 22 months, 158cm 60kgs, never drink alcohol, never smoking.
Thank you....
Hi
Pain in the breast could be caused by a wide range of reasons. From what you describe, this doesn't sound like breast cancer to me,.. Maybe the discomfort is due to Fibrocystic breast condition,a pinched nerve, bone inflammation,or pulled chest muscle due to certain exercises or strenuous activities. As you can see, the causes could be many and you really shouldn't rely on people telling you if they can feel a lump or not.Since you have a close family history of breast cancer,I would advise you to see your family doctor or preferably a Breast Specialist, regarding the swelling and the lump in your breast, that may or may not be there, for a clinical breast exam and probably other tests that your doctor may recommend to zero in on the underlying cause.
All the best ...
