stage 1 breast cancer recurrence

Just wanted to ask what is latest data on breast cancer recurrence for stage 1 (.9mm))cancer with advanced grade, low S-phase and diploid tumor that is her-2 neg and ER/PR neg also. I was dx 2 1/2 years ago and had mast with 4 cycles of AC chemo. I truly hate worrying about every little thing. Also, what should I be looking for in relation to recurrence (signs and symptoms). Also is there a benefit to having a PET scan done without obvious symptomotology? thanks.

Dear PaulaJ:  The 5 year survival statistics that are published range between 87%-98%.  Your chances of recurrence are low.  You should notify your doctor if you have symptoms that do not improve within a normal course of time - like a cough that does not go away within a few weeks.  There is no benefit to having a PET scan without symptoms in a person with your disease profile.
