The waiting is really difficult. But you need to stop worrying and wait for the reports to come in.
Ask for a copy of the reports.
RegularRegular insulin breast self exams, periodic clinical examinations by your physician and 6 monthly or annual mammograms are the usual plan of folllow up in most cases.
It would be helpful to detect any change or anything abnormal at the earliest.
I had a sterotactic biospy and new the next what the results were. DCIS
My radiologist thought my califications were normalNormal saline flush/benign and to come back in 6 mos for a recjheck...I said NO i want a biopsy. To his surprise it was DCIS
