stop tamoxifen because of increased liver enzyme,what to do next?

was diagnosed with breast cancer in 09,did the whole sheebang(modified radical mastectomy,chemotherapy,hormonal therapy).was on tamoxifen for 8 months and now my oncologist told me to stop taking it due to increased liver enzyme. right now i'm cancer free and i want to keep it that way so, what's my next best option for prevention?

Since your oncologist told you to stop taking tamoxifen, the logical next step would be to ask her/him what would be your next best option for prevention.

S/he knows all the details of your case and your current health status, as well as  whether you are pre- or post- menoapausal, and therefore would be in a much better position than we are to offer you appropriate suggestions.
