swelling and pain under right breast

I am a 25 year old female and I have been having severe pain on my ribs under my right breast for over a year. It's swollen and very uncomfortable. I have rather large breasts, which cause me horrible back pain, so I figured that they were just so heavy, it might be causing some bruising where they "hang." But lately it's getting to be more and more painful. I still believe it has to do with the weight of my breast sitting on top constantly, but I would like to be sure. I don't have health insurance, which makes it virtually impossible for me, a full time student, to get any testing done. Any ideas would be great. Thanks!

I think you would benefit from a visit to your Physician for an examination regarding the swelling you describe. As a rule most hospitals in conjunction with local health departments will offer mammograms (if necessary) to women who are uninsured. First you need to see the Dr. because this may have nothing to do with the size or weight of your breasts at all. I hope you are wearing a VERY supportive bra which would certainly help with the discomfort due to your breasts being large. At some point you may need to consider a breast reduction to ease the back pain you are having.     Regards .....
