swollen chest and under arm glands

swollen chest and under arm glands

For the past 3 days I have had swollen glands under both nipples, the left is worse then the right. On top of that I can feel pain in my gland under my left arm periodical, it is swollen as well and painful to touch. a week before these glands started hurting I had my right side gland behind my cheek bone just before my ear swell and hurt. I think this is the saliva gland, as I would east salty or sour foods it would hurt worse. I started a garlic regiment of 2000mg per day and the cheek gland went away, I have started taking that same garlic regiment again yesterday for the nipple gland swelling.

I am 30 male, I smoke one pack every 3 days, and currently on 47mg of Methadone for pain taken once a day, I also have been taking over the counter sleep aid one every night for the past year. It is a gelcap that has 50mg of detripephyne???????? It is the same stuff used in benidryl. My family history: One aunt who has had skin cancer on her arm, she was able to beet it after they remove a patch of skin and graphed more on. Later in life this same aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer, she had the breast removed and so far she has been cancer free.

My uncle her brother died of cancer, it first started out with skin cancer, which he never had checked out, it spread from there and he developed tumors in most of his body including the brain.

My grandfather both aunt and uncles dad died of brain cancer around the age of 65 this they feel was caused by his line of work, WWII he painted army trucks using lead pain, when he came out of the army he open auto shops where he continued painting cars, he used a lot of lead as body filler back then and used a lot of tuline a paint thiner and striper that is very hazardous.

Hi,
Swollen lymph nodes as you have described could be a symptom of a variety of problems, but I doubt that this is a sign of breast cancer. The best advice I could give you is  to see a general medical doctor who could evaluate your symptoms and maybe prescribe some antibiotics as an infection somewhere in the body could cause the lymph nodes to swell.
It's important that you notify your doctor about any medications you have been taking as they could be causing some of your problems you have.Nicotine from smoking and the use of recreational drugs such as marijuana could also be causing problems in the breast.
Best wishes...

Hi,
I really don't think that this has anything to do with breast cancer. But you should be talking to your mom,or someone close to you about this lump.
It is quite common for teenagers to get lumps under the nipple and it may affect only one breast. This is due because of hormonal changes in the body as it develops.Usually these lumps take a few weeks to disappear providing that the area around the nipple doesn't look red and swollen and isn't causing any pain.
The best advice I could give you is to talk to your mom to make an appointment to see your family Doctor to check this lump and reassure you.
Take care ..
