Hi,

You might want to ask your doctor to find out from the radiologist just how dense your breast tissues appears to be. If they are very dense, extra scrrening measures may be appropriate.

Here is an informational post about breast density as a risk factor for BC:

thanx dear for the reply you really made me feel more comfortable now , because i was really worried. i'm 27 yrs old and still a vigin , so never had any breast feeding or pregnancy before, which my GP couldn't find a reason why i'm having this bad pain due to dense parenchyma in my right breast , so he refered me to see specialist . regards

This is NOT an unusual finding .... it simply describes the breast tissue and there is no treatment since it really isn't a "condition" ..... it's a normal happening in women of all age groups. If you read the old post on the subject you know that is only means that your breasts may feel lumpy when examined. I wouldn't call it a diagnosis but merely a description. You don't state your age (which would help us in answering) but pain, discomfort, heaviness often occurs in connection with the menstrual cycle due to the levels of hormones at certain times. This also is not unusual.    Regards .....
