My wife is dignosed with MBC of bones. She is started with Biophosphanates , Aromysin 25 mg, Tykerb 1250 mg,
Xeloda 1500 mg twice a day.

She had completed 3 cycles.

She had grade 3 diarroha & hand foot syndrome.Due to that our physician has suggested to interrupt Xeloda with Tykerb for 15 days.

Will it affect prognosis ?
When should we restart the treatment ?
Whether we should reduce dose of Xeloda with Tykerb ?
What is line of treatment for controlling diarroha & hand foot syndrome ?

Pl. advise

Pl advise.

Hi,

It's overwhelming to have so many questions, and questions that build upon questions, isn't it?!

We are unable to advise you on these types of specific treatment questions.  They are good and valid questions.  Please write them down and post them to your oncologist.

I hope we can help you in other ways.

Warmly,

Chris
