treatment

I have had a radical macectomy in May,1997. I had adria chemo;36 radiation treatments and have been on tamoxifen since.  Now have been diagnosed with bone cancer in 6 places.  My back ,nose,eye,ribs, and lower lumbar.Have had Cat Scan, and X-rays for abdomen,chest and hip which show no signs of cancer.  Had MRI  but results are not in.
Is the treatment for recurring breast cancer which has traveled to the bone generally taxotere,herceptin and aredia an acceptable combination?

Dear Norma, Yes, taxotere has been shown to have activity as treatment for metastatic breast cancer.  The combination of taxotere and herceptin has also been used.  In metastatic breast cancer that is Her 2-neu positive there have been studies which showed an increase in response than with herceptin by itself.  Aredia is used in this situation in order to prevent the possible complications of bone metastasis.
