ultrasoung result

I recieved my result from my ultrasound and here what it saud: Around 9 o'clock, there is somewhat irregular area demonstrated mesuring 1.8 x 0.7 cm with some acoustic shadowing. elsewhere there is ductal ectasia present. What does that mean?? Please help me.

Ductal ectasia simply means that one or more of the milk ducts are dilated (enlarged). As far as the suspicious area I'm sure some recommendation was included in the report as to what follow-up investigation may be needed to ascertain exactly what this area represents. If not, then I suggest that you speak with your prescribing Physician and ask what needs to be done next.    Regards ....
