underarm itching

by cwillard179, Nov 12, 2008 06:35AM
Last month itching under my arms started.  I have changed deodorants four times and
the situation has not changed.  I am post menaplause and an on tyroid and
chloestrol medicine and Prempro.  My age is 57 yrs. old.  This is starting to become
very annoying.  The itching remains even without deodorant.

Hi, I had a very bad itching under both my arms for years. I switched deodorants as well. It finally dawned on me that I am allergic to perfume and deodorants have perfume in them so once I switched to unscented deodorant, i.e. Sure, Secret, the itching finally went away. Not sure if you tried unscented deodorant, but if not, give it a try. I would have a terrible red rash under my arms from the irritation it caused.
