Hi,
A vascular invasion is usually seen in case of a cancerous growth or a tumour. The vessels start to invade the tumour site. This makes the tumour prognosis bad, and the tumour is more likely to leed when taking a biopsy or during any other surgical intervention.
On the other hand, vascular lymph nodes simply means lymph nodes that have vessels supplying the lymph nodes. The exact cause can only be established on clinical examination and further investigations.
Have you consulted your doctor as yet? What does he have to say?
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
Hi
sorry it was supposed to say a tumour. As far as I know at this point I don't have a tumour, but I have a lump in my arm and my left clavicle is also enlarged.
I just want to know if vascular lymph nodes are normal.
I can't find anything on the internet about vascular lymph nodes, all I can get information about is vascular invasion. Is it the same thing??
Thank you
Hi,
'the tumour'? Is there a tumourous lesion present? I am sorry but i din't get that from your post. Please do clarify. If yes, then what is the site, for how long is it present, has it been diagnosed after a biopsy? Is any medication being taken?
does vascular lymph nodes mean there is vascular invasion from the tumour???
Hi,
Vascular lymph nodes means that the lymph nodes have blood vessels/ blood vessels adjacent or supplying the node. Such nodes tend to bleed when a biopsy is attempted. You need to ask your radiologist and physician about this in detail. Also ask them if anything needs to be done further. Goodluck.
