I have been taking Tamixofin for almost one year. I have gained 15 pounds and find myself hungry all the time. Having had lap band surgery two years ago (lost 80 lbs) I don't know what to do to stop the pounds from creeping up. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer.
Hello,I'm also taking anti estrogenHormone replacement therapy medication called Arimidex (akin to TamoxifenTamoxifen Tamoxifen citrate) since December 2008.I don't feel more hungry though.I've heard that many womenWomen's way taking this medication do gain weight.I guess that we are all different in how we react to certain medicine, maybe you can ask your doctor to change TamoxifenTamoxifen Tamoxifen citrate for another one?.I know for a fact that Arimidex makes me feel somewhat tired and I tend to rest more than usual and I don't like that.I use my treadmill daily, whether tired or not..because I am sure that if I don't exercise I will gain weight.Well I really hope that you'll find a way not to gain undesired weight since you achieved to lose 80 pounds already! WOW !! You really deserve to be congratulated for that.Take care and best wishes.
