what does a fat necrosis on a chest wall look like?

Moms lost some weight due to the flu.  The one lump we were concerned about on the mastectomy site
now looks bigger .

But now some 12 smaller lumps are felt under the chest wall skin around   the outside edge of the mastectomy site

and the skin over the lumps is red.
She describes these as hard and smooth.
"marbles under a cloth" she describes it.

says there is no rash....

Your Mom needs to be seen by her Physician or Oncologist for a clinical exam and possibly some type of imagery to determine what these lumps are at the mastectomy site. This cannot be determined by simply "feeling" them .... please see that she consults her Physician.    Regards ....
