what happens next

For the last 2 years i have been recievig ongoing treatment at a local cancer hospital after discovering a benign breast lump. I have had Tamoxifen and zolodex, none of which did anything to ease the pan in my right breast.  I am 32 yrs old have 2 children aged 6 and 2 I have had a miroductectomy in the past again unsuccessful.  The pain in my right breast has meant that i now have no feeling in my right arm and loss of feeling in my fingers and pain around my ribcage and in my armpit.

I have recently undergone a hysterectomy at the suggestion of my oncologist to stop me producing any hormones which should stop the pain, to date i am still suffering the pain and bleeding from my nipple, what happens next, should i push for a mastectomy as a last resort.

Dear rowan, An oncologist is a doctor who specializes in treating cancer.  Are you sure that this lump was benign (not cancerous)?  Breast pain is a common symptom, and usually is not associated with cancer.
Your situation is complex and you may be best served by having an evaluation by a physician who specializes in treating problems related to the breast.
