what is HYPOECHOIC LEsION

what is HYPOECHOIC LEsION

Hi

My wife went for a Sonomamography twice at a different scan center

First Scan Center they gave the below report

A well defined hypoechoeic lesion measuring 6.7 * 3.7mm seen in 3 "0" clock position of left breast

Second scan center they gave the below report

Scanning the breast demonstrated mammary lobules with a well circumscribed mass measuring around 6/5 mm in the left outer quadrant, echo characteristics suggestive of fibroadenolipoma.

What does it mean both are different or same they are pointing out.

My doctor tells us that no worry this is small stone nothing to worry about it. She gave some vitamin tablets and she said this is not a cancer this one is fat stone basically comes to all of them. We can't operate it becz its too small wait for some time after six moths we can go for another scan whether its growing or reducing.

Some one of them is telling that we can go for a tablet to decrese the size and totaly cure the one.

Just i want to clarifiy that this is nothing to worry or we have to take some steps.

Please advice.

Dear Unnamalai,  It is likely that they are describing the same finding just in different ways, however, over the internet, without being able to see the films and compare it is impossible to say for sure.  A finding on a test can be more or less suspicious.  We are not sure of the recommendations of the “tablet” to “cure” the finding without being sure of what the finding is.  You may want to ask some additional questions of your doctor in order to clarify.
