white pimple-like bump directly on the nipple

hello. about 3 weeks ago i noticed a white, round, hard pimple-like thing on my right nipple, right in the center of the nipple itself, not the areola. it is only noticeable when my nipple is hard, and then it looks like a white round ball in the center of the nipple. it doesn't hurt, there is no discharge, and there havent been changes in size/appearance since it started. I am 26, family history of breast cancer. i am also on birth control.

The nipples have sweat and sebaceous glands, similar to that of the skin of the face and other areas of the body.  With this in mind, the nipples can likewise develop these white plugs similar to white heads, that clogs the pores where these glands drain.
Sometimes, these comedones become infected and can produce inflammation similar to what is happening in a pimple.It is best not to manipulate or try to express this plug.  I would also suggest to see your  doctor for an examination and ask about non-comedogenic soaps or keratolytics to prevent these formations.

Thanks! The problem is I'm living abroad in Korea now so I'm not sure I would be able to convey that I need these special soaps. Is there anything I can do to help it go down on its own? Will it go away with time or is it something that needs to be taken care of?

I am sure that a pharmacy in Korea will have soaps like Neutrogena or other brands that one uses for oily skin and for acne.In time the pimple will hopefully heal.If on the other hand it becomes red,hot and painful, a visit to a  dermatologist would be advisable.
