Many things can cause a late or missed period, pregnancy being one of those many :) You should take a pregnancy test using first morning urine :)

Hi there

If you are pregnant that would make you 5 and a half months pregnant if the date of last period was the 19th of April and 6 and a half months pregnant if you were due on the 19th April but missed it. I think oyu would be showing a bump by now if you were pregnant and would have felt the baby turn and kick inside you.

You seriously need to get down to the doctors asap   and get checked out. If you are pregnant the doctor will be able to hear the baby's heartbeat and he will check your blood pressure and arrange for you to have blood taken and an ultrasound scan.

If you are not pregnant then it could be down to stress or you may have lost too much weight. There are a few different reasons but the sooner you go to the doctors the better!!!!!

Please post on here how you get on

Good luck!!!

Hi there

So you have ruled out one possibility . There are other things it could be. Go to the doctors and get checked out .

Dizzyness can be a sign of low blood pressure .

Good luck x

Definitely go see a doctor for a full work up. There are a few things that can cause such irregular periods. Before I had children, I had very irregular periods. I went as long as 9 months without a period. It was most likely due to low body fat percentage...possibly secondary to a thyroid issue. But since i never saw a doctor for testing, we can only speculate.

Even if you have irregular periods, it is possible to get pregnant so if you don't want to have a baby at this time, you should be using protection. My oldest child was born in July 1990...but LMP before having her was August 1989...and no, I am not an elephant LOL.

Anyway...see a doctor for a full exam and testing to see why you haven't had your period and use protection if you aren't trying to get pregnant.

Hi there

you are just 3lbs into the dangerously overweight for your height catagory.

The ideal weight you shoud aim for is about 10 and a half stone (147)

There is a weight tracker on this site you can use and also a food tracker as well which really makes you realise just how much you are eating. I am using it myself and have lost 6lb so far it is hard but really will be worth it when I get to my target and I am making sure I only eat stuff I really like.

You should aim to lose the weight slowly over about 14 months so if you loaded up your target today the target day would be Christmas next year!!

There is also an exersise tracker too and as you lose more weight you will find you are able exersice more.

Have you been tested for polycystic ovarian syndrome??

I would hope that losing weight slowly will help you regain your periods but never ever try extreme dieting where you live on one meal a day or don't eat for two whole days a week as that will definately make your periods stop!!!!!

Good luck  !!!

Did they check you for hypertension or high blood pressure when you were in hospital?  It is one of many reasons for being dizzy and getting headaches. What did they say about it?

They did take my blood pressure but it was a little high but she took it again and it was okay they didn't tell me any thing but you can go to a clinic and they can better help you.

Hi there

Doesn't sound like they were much help at all.
Are you going to try the clinic??

Do yuo think you might try the losing weight thing to see if that helps with your periods??

Hope you get a period soon it must be very worrying
