Any suggestions for reusable nursing pads?

I am disliking the amount of money spent and waste created with disposable pads. Does anyone have any suggestions for brands of reusable ones?

You know, I had some "reusable" ones and as soon as they were washed, they seem to stop working.

Do you have a Kroger store near you like an actual Kroger, Ralphs, Fred Meyer? They have a great and inexpensive nursing pad. The good news it, you may not need to wear them all the time after your supply stabilizes and the baby settles in ;-)

Johnson and Johnson - or is it Gerber... have cheap ones that don't have a lot of plastic wrapping. I hate the amount of waste disposable pads create - haven't tried re-usable ones though...

I checked the box in my vanity - the ones I'm thinking of are Gerber- cheap and no plastic wrapping.

may sound weird, but i have heard of people who don't leak much cut panty liners into smaller sections and use those. I never tried it and don't know if it'll be cheaper though...
