So i bought a tube of benzoyl peroxide today to use on my face as i noticed a few breakouts, when i read the instruction label and it said not to use when pregnant or breastfeeding. I used to use it before i got pregnant too. I am just wondering how it would affect bf when its a face cream?
The chemicals are absorbed into your bloodstream through your skin and then passed to baby through you or your milk. you could actually try rubbing a little of your milk on the breakout areas...breast milk has amazing healing properties.
