Can't get enough WATER!!

Can't get enough WATER!!

Anyone else breastfeeding and always thirsty? I want to know if this is normal because I'm constantly thirsty...seems like I just can't get enough. In the middle of the night after a feed I will get up and even drink a glass. It is winter and the air is dry but this is crazy!! hehe
I almost am always drinking water. I'm not heavy into juices and hardly ever drink pop.

I am additcted to water! I always have a huge bottle with me wherever I go and drink it throughout the day, especially when I nurse.

I'm always drinking water too, although while I was sick with a head cold I was drinking a lot of tea.  I keep glasses of watter all over the house, and a big watter bottle to carry around at work.

I was when I breastfed my first son....but not so much the second time around.  I think that's great, though, because it's really important to keep up on your fluids (especially water) while BFing.  The second time around, I always had to force myself to drink water throughout the day so I'd get enough.

Yeah that's rather normal, I did drink much more in the beginning when I exclusively breastfed and then my thirst reduced after a few months, and also when I started to introduce solids.

ep I still feel pregnant for how much I pee but I drink an ddrink and drink too, and it has been like this with all 4.

My little guy is 7 months now and really has not been eating food yet. I started to introduce them at six months but he only eats maybe 1tsp-1tblsp of food each day. And the bigger portion only three times so far. I was warming his food but today he got a cold bite as I was going to give up on foods altogether till he was older but he gulped it up cold! Well yesterday it was cuz today I gave it to him cold again and he loves it cold! Who knew!!! Cold Peas;) he is silly

Yep. I drink about 10 16oz bottles of water a day.  Its crazy how much I drink. I'm up 2-3 times at night goin pee and downing a bottle of water all at once. Sometimes I have to drink one and a half bottles before my thirst is quenched.

I drink 1-2 glasses of juice a day too.  I'm constantly starving also. I can never feel full when I eat. The rare occasion I due feel full it only lasts about 15-20 minutes then I'm hungry again. Fruits and veggies don't cut it either like when I was pregnant. I need the carbs of pastas and starches. No wonder I can't loose the last 15 lbs of baby weight.

Me too. I've done as much as 3 32 oz bottles at work and then more at home. It's insane how much water I drink - but figure how many ounces are being expelled in the milk...

Yes, very normal.  Drink to thirst, it will keep your production going strong!
